Elevated Garden Party
J &J wanted a whimsical wedding that turned into the ultimate dance party by the end. They took inspiration from the Lord of the Rings birthday party with lights and wildflowers scattered through the grounds of Scholls Valley Lodge. Jessica wore a textured ball gown with a cathedral veil to symbolize her catholic roots, and Josh and Jessica added elements of his Jewish heritage into the ceremony. It was a beautiful blend of love and culture that was celebrated that day.
Cocktail hour was on the lawn surrounded by lavender and white umbrellas to transport their guests to a garden party vibe. Charcuterie and appetizers were passed around and people sipped on drinks that each symbolized one of their pets.
The reception was styled with mix matched vintage plates, water colored paper goods, and flower arrangements by Novella Theory that incorporated fresh fruit for the ultimate backyard garden feel.
Once the dancing started, Higher Ground Entertainment took it away and created the best playlist for the couple, which had the groom strumming his air guitar on his knees by the end.
Banquette put out a spread of individual summer seasonal desserts that had people hovering and admiring the whole time.
To make sure the party kept going, Jessica and Josh had Howdy Coffee join the reception and serve made to order lattes and mochas, that was a personal highlight for the Bride and Groom.
